The course was a wonderful test of championship golf. Lisa Stanley played exceptionally well shooting 78/77/78 to
take her first state amateur title.
Janet Weber won the Senior Amateur title and the Skippy Pasutti Director's flight shooting 85/82/78. Senior flight
gross winners were Masako Brown-Silver Flight
and Larren Buckley-Gold Flight. Senior flight net champions were Sue Stacey-Silver Flight and Yvonne White-Gold
Flight. The

2008 QUAD TOURNAMENT
Had anyone known how good the team of Laurie Johnson, Doe Emes, Sarah Bowman or Laura Smith were going to be, no one else
would have signed up. They blew away the field shooting 13 under gross and 41 under net. Needless to say, they weren't paid for both.
The Net Championship was awarded to Julia Choi, Inja Korn, Jessica Kwon
and Judy Critcher shooting 38 under. Pretty impressive stuff. Congratulations to both teams. Reports for
gross and net are now available.
2008 PARTNERS TOURNAMENT
The competition was fierce at the NSWGA State Partners tournament held at Arrowcreek. K. Higa and S.Jackson won the event in a scorecard playoff against K.Hoppe and L.Jones with both teams scoring 146. Congratulations to M. Harris and C. Hall for winning the net championship shooting 126. The scoring reports
gross and net are now available.
SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO 2008 STATE PARTNER'S TOURNAMENT
The USGA has come out with new rules sourrounding the way teams competing in partner events should be handicapped. These changes were adopted by your Nevada State Women's Golf Association Board and will be in effect at our state partner's event in 2008. Please take the time to read the standing rules .
Any questions regarding these changes should be sent to Virginia Bonar, President, Nevada State Women's Golf Association.
